Being on that bridge as the helmsman, you see the galaxy from a specific vantage point. But for me, the real journey in Starfleet Academy isn't about the light-years we’re traveling—it’s was about the journey within the inner self.
I think the pushback comes from looking for "lineage" or past legacies. But if you take these stories at face value, you see something much more personal. As a parent or guardian , situations about identity, trust and community for example, are on full display through these young adults. They aren't just traversing the universe; they’re traversing within themselves.
And the real reason why I was compelled to share this is because I've met these people. And they're all so wonderful. From the bridge crew: Rebecca, Ken, Joseph, Trish, Ava, Nicole, Gina, Holly and the kids!! Sandro, Zoe Kerrice,Bella, George, Romeo, Karim my goodness... all have a hearts of gold.. and Alex, Noga, Tunde..such special people. And that's why it hurts even more. 🖖🏾✨
