After contracting C-19 and fully recovering, then taking the second jab in 2022, I noticed a number of changes in my body. I was told I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my neck, then alopecia, benign cysts were popping up, lower back issues, pre existing respiratory issues, they were coming back... The list went on and on. All of these issues began after I received the second “C” jab. Of course nothing was conclusive, but that's when I noticed these changes.
Unless you collapsed or had an immediate reaction to the jabs, minor symptoms were dismissed as age-related ailments. At least that's what the doctors and dermatologists told me.
They may possess degrees in science, math, and technology, but they lack an intimate understanding of your unique body. You are the best judge of how you are supposed to feel, especially if you are in tune with yourself.
Rather than succumbing to a victim mentality and being left without answers, I decided to look both inward and upward for guidance. This journey has involved a lot of praying, finding solace in Bible verses, and shedding countless tears.
I have missed out on countless work opportunities because of the physical and mental toll these issues have taken on me. My health struggles have not only affected my ability to perform but also influenced my self-esteem and confidence in my professional life. The constant battle with my body and mind has made it challenging to stay engaged and perform at my best in the past.. However, despite these challenges, “We” have managed to persevere and continue moving forward. While I am not completely healed yet, I am steadily on the path to recovery. This is the beginning of my journey toward wellness.
One powerful word came to me during my prayers: "inflammation". This word felt deeply significant for my own body, even if it might not apply to others. Recognizing that inflammation was the root cause of my issues, I decided to address it head-on. I shifted my focus to reducing inflammation through a combination of approaches: eating the right foods, engaging in meditation, practicing yoga, and committing to regular prayer. I also made it a point to incorporate activities that would invoke a sense of ease and calmness, rather than provoke anger or stress. These changes have been instrumental in my journey towards healing and wellness.
The hardest part of this journey has been finding the right foods, as it felt like everything available was laden with chemicals, oils, or carcinogens. In response, I committed to a vegetarian diet, steering clear of canola, safflower, and vegetable oils, and opting only for avocado or olive oil in my meals. I also eliminated dairy, wheat, bread, and caffeine, and significantly limited my alcohol intake.
Although these changes led to a loss of muscle mass, since I used to consume chicken, steak, and fish at least three times a week, I am now on a quest to find different sources of protein. Despite this challenge, I have noticed a significant increase in my energy levels compared to before. This transformation has not only been about diet but also about listening to my body and making holistic changes for my well-being.

The body communicates its needs clearly, yet people often focus on others' experiences instead of their own. As I share my journey, keep in mind that it’s not about what works for me being a one-size-fits-all solution. It's about doing the research, going through the struggles, if any, and being solutionary minded. The answers are within.
I share my story in the hope that it might inspire someone to stop feeling like a victim of their circumstances and to take charge of their health. Discover what you can do to help yourself because the only constant support available to me 24/7,has been the Lord above.
